Cherilus, who appeared intoxicated when he boarded, became irate and uncooperative with police, leading to charges of disorderly conduct and disturbing a flight crew. He has since apologized, attributing his behavior to a sleeping medication he does not usually take. Cherilus, who played for the Lions, Colts, and Buccaneers during his nine-season NFL career, was arraigned on Monday and has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
