Sony Developing Animated Spider-Punk Feature

Sony Pictures Animation is developing an animated Spider-Punk feature, co-written by Daniel Kaluuya and Ajon Singh. Kaluuya, who voiced Hobie Brown/Spider-Punk in 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,' is expected to return, though this has not been officially confirmed. Spider-Punk, an anarchist Spider-Man from Earth-138 who first appeared in Marvel Comics in 2015, is celebrated for his punk rock style and anti-establishment ethos. The project is part of Sony's expanding Spider-Verse franchise, which includes the animated 'Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse' set for 2027 and a live-action 'Spider-Noir' series starring Nicolas Cage.
