Allegiant Airlines Launches Denver Service from Stockton

Allegiant Airlines will start twice-weekly flights from Stockton Metropolitan Airport to Denver International Airport on May 14, 2025, marking a significant expansion of travel options for the region. This service will allow passengers to connect to other flights and access downtown Denver via the airport rail line. Additionally, Allegiant plans to increase its flights to Las Vegas to nine times a week and to Phoenix to three times a week in the summer of 2025. Airport Director Richard Sokol highlighted the potential for more destinations, stating that Stockton currently serves only 6% of its market capacity, and emphasized the growing population and income in the area as factors attracting new airline interest. The airport is seen as a vital economic asset for San Joaquin County, with plans for further expansion including potential routes to Los Angeles. Local officials and Sokol are optimistic that these developments could lead to more airlines considering service at Stockton Metro Airport.
