Raptors Beat Short-Handed Grizzlies 117-104
The short-handed Toronto Raptors beat the Memphis Grizzlies 117-104 on Sunday, snapping Memphis’s streak without back-to-back losses and giving Toronto consecutive wins for the first time this season. RJ Barrett led Toronto with 27 points and Brandon Ingram added 26, while Scottie Barnes had 19 points and 12 rebounds; Jaren Jackson Jr. paced Memphis with 20 points. Memphis was missing All-Star guard Ja Morant, who served a one-game suspension for conduct deemed detrimental to the team, and Jakob Poeltl sat out with a sore lower back. Toronto led 53-47 at halftime, opened the third quarter with an 8-0 run and pulled away with a strong fast-break advantage.
