Kansas, Missouri Women’s Basketball Renew Rivalry at T-Mobile Center

The longstanding women's basketball rivalry between the Kansas Jayhawks and Missouri Tigers will be renewed on November 15, 2025, at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri. This Storagemart Border Showdown game is part of the 28.5 Shootout hosted by Missouri Valley Youth Services and marks Kansas' first regular season game at the venue, which will also host the 2026 Big 12 Championship. Kansas leads the all-time series 45-38, with the teams last meeting in the 2023 Women's National Invitational Tournament. The rivalry was paused after Missouri left the Big 12 Conference following the 2011-12 season, though men's basketball and football rivalries have since resumed. Kansas coach Brandon Schneider emphasized the intensity and tradition of the rivalry, a sentiment echoed by Missouri coach Kellie Harper, who called it one of college athletics' fiercest rivalries.
