Gwyneth Paltrow Refuses Intimacy Coordinator for Sex Scenes in 'Marty Supreme'

Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed that she chose not to work with an intimacy coordinator while filming sex scenes with Timothée Chalamet for their upcoming movie, 'Marty Supreme.' Paltrow, reflecting on her experience during an interview with Vanity Fair, noted that she was unfamiliar with the role of intimacy coordinators, stating, 'I’m from the era where you get naked, you get in bed, the camera’s on.' Although the film features numerous intimate scenes, she felt that having someone dictate specific movements would stifle her creativity as an artist. Paltrow described her character as a woman married to a member of the 'Ping-Pong mafia' who forms a complex relationship with Chalamet's character. She praised Chalamet as a 'thinking man’s sex symbol' and a respectful partner. 'Marty Supreme' is set for release on December 25, 2025, and marks Paltrow's return to acting after a hiatus since 2019.
