Check Point Launches AI-Powered Quantum Security Appliances for Enterprises

Check Point Software Technologies has launched its next-generation Quantum Smart-1 Management Appliances, which deliver a twofold increase in managed gateways and up to 70% higher log processing speeds, enhanced with AI-powered security tools designed for hybrid enterprise environments. These appliances integrate seamlessly within the Check Point Infinity Platform, offering faster and more intelligent threat detection and response across on-premise, cloud, and distributed IT infrastructures, helping security teams manage growing vulnerabilities caused by remote work and AI-driven threats. The manufacturing sector faces a 90% surge in cyberattacks over three years, largely due to the increasing integration of OT and IT networks, legacy systems, and expanded attack surfaces from connected devices and SaaS platforms, highlighting the urgent need for improved visibility, control, and enforcement in security operations. Additionally, a simple web tool called WAF Checker has been developed to test the effectiveness of Web Application Firewalls against common attack payloads, providing a user-friendly way to assess and improve WAF protections.
