Ike Turner Jr., Tina Turner's Son, Dies at 67

Ike Turner Jr. died at 67 in a Los Angeles hospital from kidney failure, his cousin Jacqueline Bullock confirmed to TMZ. Bullock said he had battled severe heart problems for years and suffered a stroke in September amid a period of declining health. Born in 1958 to Ike Turner Sr. and Lorraine Taylor and later adopted by Tina Turner, he briefly worked as a sound engineer and was credited as a producer on his father’s Grammy-winning Risin’ With the Blues. He was one of four children tied to Tina and Ike Turner’s legacy; brothers Craig and Ronnie predeceased him, leaving Michael Turner as the only surviving child. His death follows the earlier deaths of his father in 2007 and his adoptive mother, Tina Turner, in 2023.
