Tony Finau Joins LAGC for One-Match Contract

Tony Finau has signed a one-match contract with the Los Angeles Golf Club (LAGC) to play against the New York Golf Club in the TGL on February 24. This temporary arrangement is due to the unavailability of Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood, who have prior commitments. Finau, a six-time PGA Tour winner, will join Collin Morikawa and Sahith Theegala as LAGC seeks to secure a playoff spot. The match will be held at the SoFi Center and broadcast live. TGL’s rules allow for such substitutions provided the player is a PGA Tour member in good standing. The Los Angeles team is currently second in the standings and aims for a strong finish in the inaugural TGL season.
