Baltimore's Artscape Festival Relocates Downtown for 2025

The 2025 Artscape Festival will take place on Memorial Day Weekend, May 24-25, in a new downtown location in Baltimore, marking a significant shift from its traditional midtown venues. Headliners for the festival include Grammy Award winners Fantasia and Robin Thicke, alongside performances from the hip-hop duo Little Brother and R&B artist Tweet. Mayor Brandon Scott emphasized that the relocation is part of his Downtown Rise initiative, aimed at revitalizing the city’s urban core through art and cultural programming. New features for this year include immersive art installations, the SCOUT Art Fair showcasing over 50 artists, and various community-focused events like The Flavor Lab and Beyond the Reel. The festival, which began in 1982, continues to support local artists and aims to generate economic growth through its cultural offerings. Applications for vendors are open until March 17, and the event remains free to the public.
