The ceremony, hosted by Chief Executive John Lee, will last approximately 1.5 hours and will not be broadcast live, but a delayed version will air on four free TV channels at 9:30 PM the same evening. The event aims to showcase Hong Kong's cultural and sports exchanges, and proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Community Chest of Hong Kong. Officials have stated that while the park can live stream the event, pre-recorded highlights will provide a more polished viewing experience. The total capacity for the ceremony is 33,600, with the government managing the distribution of tickets alongside the park operator.
