Sacramento Kings Hire Woodson, Armstrong to Coaching, Front Office

They have hired Mike Woodson, a former New York Knicks head coach and Indiana University coach, as the lead assistant coach under head coach Doug Christie. Woodson brings decades of NBA and collegiate coaching experience, including revitalizing the Atlanta Hawks and leading the Knicks to a strong Eastern Conference finish. Additionally, the Kings appointed three-time NBA champion B.J. Armstrong as assistant general manager, adding executive and player agent expertise to the front office. Former Kings player Bobby Jackson has also joined the coaching staff, bringing his NBA playing experience and prior coaching roles with the Kings and Philadelphia 76ers.
