CSUN Men's Basketball Defeats Hawaii 83-60

Cal State Northridge secured an 83-60 victory over Hawaii with Scotty Washington leading the team by scoring 24 points, while Marcus Adams Jr. added 18 points and Keonte Jones contributed a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. This win improved the Matadors' record to 12-6 overall and 4-3 in the Big West Conference. On the other hand, Hawaii, who had a strong home record of 9-3, struggled against the Matadors' offensive performance and dropped to 3-3 in conference play. The Matadors are known for their playmaking, leading the Big West with an average of 16.5 assists per game, significantly aided by Keonte Jones. Hawaii, despite a recent victory over CSU Fullerton, in which Gytis Nemeiksa scored 20 points, couldn't maintain their performance against Northridge. This match was the first meeting of the season between the two teams in conference play.
