Kyle Larson is set to attempt the challenging 'Double' again in 2025, aiming to compete in both the Indianapolis 500 and the Coca-Cola 600 on the same day. His previous effort in 2024 was thwarted by rain delays, resulting in an 18th place finish at Indy and missing the start of the Coca-Cola 600. For the upcoming attempt, Larson will again drive for Arrow McLaren and Hendrick Motorsports, but with NASCAR's Coca-Cola 600 being the priority if scheduling conflicts arise. Team owner Rick Hendrick has emphasized that if necessary, Larson will leave the Indy 500 early to ensure participation in the NASCAR race. The 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion remains determined to complete all 1,100 miles, with backup plans involving Tony Kanaan if weather disrupts the schedule again.
