Alien: Romulus Digital Release Set for October 15

The iconic sci-fi/horror franchise expands with the release of 'Alien: Romulus', directed by Fede Alvarez, which premieres digitally on October 15 via Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango, followed by a physical release on December 3. Critics have lauded the film as 'sheer terror' and 'utterly breathtaking', and it has achieved a Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes while grossing $342 million worldwide, making it the second highest-grossing entry in the franchise. Set between the original 'Alien' and 'Aliens', the film follows young colonists who unleash a deadly Xenomorph threat while scavenging a derelict space station. Exclusive bonus content will accompany the digital release, including behind-the-scenes featurettes and extended scenes. A special 2-Movie Collection featuring both 'Alien' and 'Alien: Romulus' will also be available to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the original film. Disney has not yet announced a release date for the film on Disney+.
