Swiggy Sets Guinness Record with 11,000 Vada Pavs Delivery

Swiggy, in collaboration with the Singham Again team, set a Guinness World Record by delivering 11,000 vada pavs to underprivileged children in Mumbai. The delivery, facilitated by Swiggy's newly launched XL Fleet designed for bulk orders, took place across various locations supported by the Robin Hood Army, an NGO dedicated to combating hunger. The event kicked off at Airport High School & Junior College, where prominent figures including Ajay Devgn and director Rohit Shetty celebrated the achievement. Phani Kishan, Swiggy's Co-founder, emphasized the company's commitment to serving both large and small orders while celebrating Mumbai's iconic street food. Director Rohit Shetty remarked on the initiative's meaningful impact, paralleling it with the larger-than-life theme of their film. The vada pavs were provided by MM Mithaiwala, further showcasing local food culture.
