Chip Ganassi Racing Launches Driver Development Program
Chip Ganassi Racing (CGR) has launched a new driver development program aimed at creating strategic partnerships across various motorsport disciplines to cultivate talent for the top levels of racing in North America. The initiative will initially partner with Kiwi Motorsport and Palou Motorsport, focusing on recognizing and nurturing young drivers earlier in their careers. CGR will offer comprehensive training, including physical, mental, and technical education, based out of its Indianapolis facility. Managing Director Mike Hull emphasized the need for unselfish support and a structured development plan to guide young drivers effectively. The program aims to build a network of organizations across open-wheel racing, sports cars, and karting, enhancing career development opportunities. Additional partnerships are expected to be announced as CGR expands this initiative following its recent organizational restructuring.
