Texas Man Confesses Murder American Airlines Flight Attendant

Dennis William Day, a 66-year-old man from Fort Worth, Texas, has confessed to strangling Rana Nofal Soluri, a 47-year-old American Airlines flight attendant who had lived with him for about a year and had been missing since March 2025. Soluri was last contacted on March 19, with her disappearance reported by a coworker on June 11 after she failed to return from a medical leave expected to end on March 31. Police found a video at Day's home showing him dragging what appeared to be a lifeless body, after which he admitted to the murder, claiming he "snapped" when Soluri threatened to call the police while filming him. Day strangled Soluri on the kitchen floor, then moved her body to the backyard and later dumped it near a bridge close to Bowie, Texas; her body remains undiscovered, but her cellphone signal was detected in the area. Day was arrested and charged with murder following these revelations. Investigators had previously visited Day’s residence multiple times, including to tow Soluri’s vehicle and conduct welfare checks, with the last confirmed sighting of Soluri alive on March 21.
