Three Children Dead in Suspicious Toowoomba House Fire

A house fire in Harristown, Toowoomba, has resulted in the deaths of three children—a nine-year-old boy whose body was found at the scene, and two girls, aged four and seven, who died from critical burns after being hospitalized. The fire broke out in the early hours of Wednesday, with neighbors attempting to rescue the family. While a 36-year-old woman remains in critical condition under police guard, three others—a 34-year-old man, an 18-year-old man, and an 11-year-old boy—survived the blaze. Police continue to treat the incident as suspicious, though they are not seeking any other suspects at this time.
