MSC Poesia Undergoes Major Overhaul for 2026 Alaska Season

MSC Cruises is undertaking one of its largest-ever refurbishments on the MSC Poesia ahead of its inaugural Alaska season starting May 2026. The upgrade introduces the MSC Yacht Club, an exclusive, all-inclusive "ship-within-a-ship" concept featuring 63 new suites, including luxurious options like the Royal Suite with a private whirlpool and expansive terrace, plus 24-hour butler and concierge service. New dining venues will debut, including the Butcher’s Cut steakhouse, a reimagined Kaito Sushi Bar, and the All-Stars Sports Bar. Wellness and fitness facilities are also being enhanced, with a refreshed MSC Aurea Spa featuring ocean-view sauna, steam rooms, and salt room, alongside an upgraded MSC Gym Powered by Technogym®. MSC Poesia will operate seven-night Alaska sailings roundtrip from Seattle, visiting scenic ports like Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, Tracy Arm, Juneau, and Victoria, with a variety of excursions highlighting Alaska's natural beauty and cultural heritage. This major refurbishment aims to combine European style with American comfort, delivering a premium cruising experience in Alaska's spectacular environment.
