Braves Shut Out Phillies, Phillies Beat Cubs

Reynaldo López led the Atlanta Braves to a 6-0 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies with six strong innings and a league-leading ERA of 1.71. The Braves hit four home runs, including a three-run blast by Jarred Kelenic, while Phillies rookie Michael Mercado struggled in his second career start. In another series, the Phillies won two games against the Chicago Cubs, including a 5-3 victory where Edmundo Sosa broke a tie in the eighth inning and Alec Bohm hit a two-run homer. Philadelphia's Rafael Marchán also contributed with a solo homer and a double. Despite playing without Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber, the Phillies maintained the best record in the majors at 57-29.
