Cities Host Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremonies

Multiple communities are celebrating the holiday season with tree lighting ceremonies this week. Albany's annual event, hosted by Mayor Kathy Sheehan on December 5, will feature a concert, tree lighting, and festive activities for families at Academy Park. North Cornwall Commons is also hosting its first tree lighting on the same day, including holiday treats, Santa visits, and a Toys for Tots donation drive. West Monroe held its annual ceremony on December 2, which included live entertainment and encouraged toy donations for families in need. Additionally, Montgomery County is celebrating its inaugural Christmas tree lighting ceremony, marking a new tradition in the area. These events promote community spirit and festive cheer across different regions.
