Former College Players Make NFL Rosters

Ohio State continues to be a powerhouse in the NFL, with 49 former Buckeyes making 53-man rosters, including first-round pick Marvin Harrison Jr. Meanwhile, only one former Northern Illinois player, safety Jimmie Ward, made the cut, as undrafted rookies from NIU were not retained. From North Dakota State, offensive linemen Jake Kubas and Jalen Sundell earned roster spots, while several Bison were released. Additionally, the Minnesota Gophers had 18 players make initial rosters, showcasing the program’s increasing NFL talent pool.
