The Ernakulam Regional Cooperative Milk Producers' Union (ERCMPU) of Milma reported impressive sales during this year's Onam festival, with 56 lakh litres of milk and 3.53 lakh kg of curd sold over ten days. Notably, ghee sales reached 200 tonnes, marking a 5% increase from the previous year, while on Uthradam day alone, 10.56 lakh litres of milk and 88,266 kg of curd were sold, reflecting increases of 3.06% and 7.40%, respectively. Additionally, Milma achieved record sales of 1.33 crore litres of milk and 14.95 lakh kg of curd statewide during the six days leading up to Thiruvonam. The cooperative's success was attributed to strong customer trust and the efforts of its agents and staff. Milma's strategic planning and product offerings, including a wide range of dairy products, contributed to these record figures, reinforcing its position in the dairy market.
