Two U.S. Pastors Face Major Child Abuse Charges

Two pastors in the U.S. are facing extensive abuse allegations in unrelated cases. In Greenville, South Carolina, Pastor Myron Chorbajian and his wife Kathleen have been charged with a total of 90 counts, including child sexual abuse, attempted murder, and abandonment of minors, with allegations dating back to the 1980s and detailing graphic abuse and animal cruelty. Warrants allege Myron committed sexual assault, physical abuse, and psychological torment, while Kathleen is accused of both facilitating and participating in some of the abuse. In Ohio, former pastor Dominic Foor has been indicted on over 20 felony counts, including sexual battery and unlawful sexual conduct with minors, for allegedly abusing two teenagers between 2022 and 2024; he has pleaded not guilty and posted bond. Both affected church communities have acknowledged the allegations but declined to comment further. Investigations and legal proceedings remain ongoing.
