Spider-Man Trilogy Returns to Theaters in 4K

Sam Raimi's original Spider-Man trilogy, starring Tobey Maguire, is set for a limited theatrical re-release this fall, with screenings on September 26-28 and encore presentations on October 3-5. For the first time, the extended 'Spider-Man 2.1' will be shown in 4K in theaters, including eight additional minutes with new scenes and extended fight sequences between Spider-Man and Doc Ock. Tickets go on sale July 25. The event is organized by Fathom Events and Sony Pictures as part of Fathom's Fan Favorites series, celebrating the trilogy's influence on the modern superhero genre. Fathom CEO Ray Nutt has emphasized the films’ lasting impact, and the re-release follows a recent reissue of Sony’s Spider-Man franchise. The screenings offer nostalgic value for longtime fans and a unique experience for new viewers.
