Joe Pavelski, Tara Mounsey Among Five Named to US Hockey Hall of Fame 2025

The U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame announced its Class of 2025, honoring five individuals for their outstanding contributions to the sport. Among the inductees are former NHL players Joe Pavelski, Scott Gomez, and Zach Parise, all of whom represented Team USA in the Olympics and had impactful NHL careers, with Gomez notable as the first Latino NHL player from Alaska and a two-time Stanley Cup winner. Tara Mounsey, a pioneering figure in women's hockey, was recognized for her role in winning the first-ever women's Olympic gold medal in 1998 and a silver in 2002, as well as her collegiate success at Brown University. Photographer Bruce Bennett, who has captured nearly 6,000 NHL and international games over five decades, was also inducted. The induction ceremony is scheduled for December 10 in St. Paul, Minnesota, with USA Hockey president Mike Trimboli praising the class for their remarkable and lasting impact on the game.
