Woody Allen Describes Epstein as 'Nicest Guy' at London Dinner with Duke of York

Woody Allen revealed in a recent interview that he first met Jeffrey Epstein at a dinner party in December 2010, shortly after Epstein's release from prison for soliciting an underage girl. Allen described Epstein as "couldn't have been nicer," noting that Epstein claimed to have been falsely imprisoned and was attempting to make amends through philanthropy. The dinners, which Allen and his wife Soon-Yi Previn attended regularly, featured many distinguished guests, including scientists, celebrities, and the Duke of York, Prince Andrew, whom Previn wanted to meet but described as "such a dullard." Allen stated they never saw Epstein with underage girls during these events and that Epstein always had an adult girlfriend. Epstein's former girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, was not present at the dinners Allen attended. The Duke of York later stepped back from public life due to his association with Epstein and settled a civil sexual assault case with Virginia Giuffre, whom he denies knowing.
