Pueblo Police Arrest 15-Year-Old, Woman for Deadly Drive-By Shooting

A 15-year-old boy and 24-year-old Caitlyn Gonzales have been arrested in connection with the April 6 drive-by shooting that killed 19-year-old Michael Suazo in Pueblo, Colorado. Police responded to the scene where Suazo was found dead in a vehicle, with two others sustaining minor injuries. Following an investigation, authorities obtained warrants and located the suspects on May 20, but the suspects fled on Interstate 25 towards Fountain before their vehicle was disabled by police. The teen was booked on charges including first-degree murder and violating juvenile parole, while Gonzales faces felony charges for accessory to a crime and tampering with evidence, as well as a misdemeanor for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Colorado Violent Offender Task Force and Fountain Police Department, collaborated on the arrest. Both suspects are now in custody— the teen in juvenile detention and Gonzales held on bond.
