His 1978 Oldsmobile Cutlass, instrumental in securing his third consecutive Cup Series championship, will be showcased and driven by Dale Jarrett during the race festivities. The celebration will include a remembrance by NBC, and the car will be displayed at Darlington's Stock Car Museum. Yarborough's legacy is deeply tied to Darlington, where he famously snuck in as a child and later became a racing legend.
