23-Year-Old Woman Shot in Head After Being Followed in Philadelphia

A 23-year-old woman is recovering in stable condition after being shot in the head following an incident where she was pursued by a black Nissan from her workplace in King of Prussia to Philadelphia early Saturday morning. The vehicle, described as having heavily tinted windows and a broken left front headlight, trailed her along I-76 East and I-676 East before the driver exited near 400 block of North 5th Street and fired multiple shots, striking her. The victim managed to reach Thomas Jefferson University Hospital by private transport around 3:15 a.m. The suspect fled the scene, and no crime scene has been identified by authorities, leaving the investigation ongoing. Police have not provided a suspect description and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
