Rentokil Reports 4.6% Revenue Growth, North America Drives Momentum

Rentokil Initial PLC reported a strong third quarter with revenue rising 4.6% to $1.81 billion and organic growth accelerating to 3.4%, surpassing market expectations. The North American pest control segment, a key focus for investors, showed significant improvement with organic growth of 1.8%, up from 0.1% earlier in the year, driven by enhanced digital marketing, better sales execution, and branch expansion. International markets also contributed positively, with the UK and southern European countries like Spain, Portugal, and Greece performing well. The company maintained that its cost-efficiency program and branch expansion remain on track and expects to meet full-year financial expectations. Rentokil's CEO Andy Ransom highlighted continued momentum in North America and international operations, supported by strong market conditions and strategic acquisitions. Shares surged between 9% and nearly 18% following the upbeat update, reflecting investor confidence in the company's recovery and growth prospects.
