Wes Gordon showcased the Carolina Herrera Resort 2025 collection at Museo Anahuacalli in Mexico City, a venue celebrated for its stunning Mesoamerican architectural style. The show, which attracted 500 attendees including celebrities like Karlie Kloss and Yalitza Aparicio, featured a vibrant color palette inspired by the sunsets over the city's volcanic landscape. Gordon emphasized the collection as a tribute to Mexico City, integrating bold elements such as oversized bows and exaggerated ruffles while maintaining classic Herrera codes. Notably, this event marks Herrera's second traveling runway show, following last year's event in Rio de Janeiro, and introduces a 'see now, buy now' approach with merchandise available immediately. The collection was a collaboration with four female Mexican artisans, highlighting regional craftsmanship. Gordon's designs reflect the rich cultural fusion of modern and historical influences unique to Mexico City.
