21-Year-Old Charged With DUI After Fatal Gastonia Crash

Logan Taylor, a 21-year-old from Huntersville, has been charged with felony death by motor vehicle, DUI, reckless driving, and failing to stop at a red light after a deadly crash in Gastonia, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. on June 16 when Taylor, allegedly speeding with his headlights off and under the influence of alcohol, ran a red light at the intersection of East Hudson Boulevard and Gaston Day School Road. He collided with a Hyundai Elantra driven by 45-year-old Rashonda Greene, who was killed at the scene. Taylor's 18-year-old brother, who was a passenger, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
