Allu Arjun Arrested After Theatre Stampede

Indian actor Allu Arjun was arrested following a tragic stampede at a screening of his film 'Pushpa 2' in Hyderabad, which resulted in the death of a 39-year-old woman named M Revathi and left her son seriously injured. The incident occurred on December 4 when large crowds gathered to see Arjun, leading to chaos as fans attempted to approach him, causing the gates to collapse. Police have charged Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management with culpable homicide not amounting to murder, among other offenses. In response to the tragedy, Arjun expressed his deep sorrow and pledged financial support for the victim's family, as well as medical expenses for the injured child. Seven others have also been arrested in connection with the case as investigations continue. The film's producers have publicly extended their condolences and support to Revathi's family during this difficult time.
