Canucks Beat Oilers 4-3 in OT
The Vancouver Canucks defeated the Edmonton Oilers 4-3 in overtime when Kiefer Sherwood deflected a Brock Boeser pass 1:42 into OT. Boeser had a goal and two assists, Elias Pettersson also scored, Connor Garland added two assists, and Thatcher Demko made 26 saves as Vancouver snapped a three-game slide. Leon Draisaitl scored twice for Edmonton and Jack Roslovic had a goal and an assist; Calvin Pickard stopped 23 shots and Draisaitl’s one-timer off a Connor McDavid feed tied the game with 5:03 remaining in regulation. The Canucks have been managing several injuries, with captain Quinn Hughes listed day-to-day, and added Lukas Reichel for depth — Reichel was later slotted to center a line with Evander Kane and Boeser.
