Two California residents, Jaheim Wilson, 23, and Oleyah Brown, 21, were arrested in connection with an armed home invasion in Point Pleasant Borough, New Jersey. The pair forcibly entered a Barton Avenue home while the occupant was present, stole personal property, and Wilson fired a single gunshot before they fled the scene. Both suspects were apprehended later that night in Toms River without incident and are currently held in Ocean County Jail pending detention hearings. Wilson faces charges including home invasion burglary, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon, while Brown is charged with home invasion burglary. Authorities credited the coordinated efforts of multiple law enforcement units in investigating and making the arrests. No injuries were reported during the incident.
