Simone Biles, Eagles, Gilgeous-Alexander Win 2025 ESPYs

The 2025 ESPY Awards were held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on July 16, hosted by comedian Shane Gillis. Simone Biles won Best Female Athlete and Best Championship Performance for her achievements at the Paris Olympics. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was named Best Male Athlete after leading the Oklahoma City Thunder to an NBA Championship, while the Philadelphia Eagles took Best Team following their Super Bowl victory. Saquon Barkley's backwards hurdle won Best Play. Humanitarian honors went to Sloane Stephens (Muhammad Ali Sports Humanitarian Award) and Katie Schumacher-Cawley (Jimmy V Award for Perseverance). The event featured notable athletes and celebrities and continued to support the V Foundation for Cancer Research.
