Post Office Sub-Postmasters Report Ongoing IT Issues

Key findings show that over half of the respondents experienced unexplained discrepancies, and many resolved financial shortfalls by using their own or branch funds. Despite efforts to address the issues, nearly 70% reported 'unexplained discrepancies' since January 2020, highlighting persistent flaws in the system. The inquiry's next phase includes testimonies from current and former Post Office executives, including the recently announced departure of CEO Nick Read. The Horizon Shortfall Compensation Scheme has also drawn criticism, with nearly half of the applicants expressing dissatisfaction with its operations.
