Mark Dantonio Inducted into Rose Bowl Hall

Mark Dantonio, the winningest coach in Michigan State football history, has been named to the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame Class of 2024, joining notable figures such as Reggie Bush and LaMichael James. Dantonio's tenure included a remarkable 2013 season where he led the Spartans to a 13-1 record and a Rose Bowl victory over Stanford, marking only the second Rose Bowl win for the Big Ten since 2000. Under his leadership, Michigan State secured three Big Ten championships and made significant strides in national rankings, finishing as high as No. 3. Following his retirement, the Spartans have struggled to regain their former glory, with Coach Jonathan Smith seeking to rebuild the program. The 2024 inductees will be honored during the Rose Parade and the College Football Playoff Quarterfinals on January 1, 2025. Dantonio's legacy will also be celebrated with his name added to the Michigan State Ring of Honor during a game against Ohio State.
