The summit aims to establish a new funding target for developed nations to support developing countries in climate adaptation, with proposals for voluntary funds from fossil fuel sectors to assist in this transition. Additionally, Pakistan's Federal Minister for Commerce Jawad Paul emphasized the potential for renewable energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, particularly in solar energy, ahead of the COP29 conference.
