Air Canada and ANA Announce Fleet Upgrades

Air Canada is set to become the launch customer for the Airbus Airspace cabin on its A220 aircraft, which will include XL overhead bins that offer a 15% increase in luggage capacity. The new cabin design, debuting in early 2026, will feature enhanced lighting and a refreshed interior aimed at improving the travel experience, while maintaining the existing carry-on baggage policy to improve boarding efficiency. John Moody of Air Canada highlighted the airline's commitment to enhancing travel comfort with these updates. Separately, All Nippon Airways plans to upgrade its international Boeing 787 fleet starting in 2026 with new premium economy and economy seats from RECARO, focusing on enhanced technology and comfort. Both airlines are making significant investments to improve passenger comfort and cabin aesthetics.
