Paul Bissonnette Assaulted by Six Men in Scottsdale
Former NHL player and current broadcaster Paul Bissonnette was involved in a violent altercation with six men at a Houston's restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona, on November 24. Bissonnette intervened when the group began harassing restaurant staff, leading to a six-on-one fight that spilled into a nearby parking lot. Surveillance video released by Scottsdale police shows Bissonnette being chased, punched, and kicked by the men before he managed to escape. All six attackers, identified as Henry Mesker, John Carroll, William Carroll, Danny Bradley, Edward Jennings, and Sean Daley, were arrested and charged with assault, among other charges, and Sean Daley has been indicted for causing injury to Bissonnette while impaired. Bissonnette, who sustained injuries, expressed his intent to retaliate in a fiery social media post following the incident. Despite the ordeal, Bissonnette has continued his work with the NHL on TNT and his podcast, 'Spittin' Chiclets.'
