French State Makes Confirmatory Offer for Atos Unit

Atos SE has received a confirmatory offer from the French government to acquire its Advanced Computing business, excluding Vision AI activities, for an enterprise value of €410 million, including €110 million in contingent earn-outs based on profitability. The division includes high-performance computing, quantum, and artificial intelligence units, and is expected to generate about €800 million in revenue in 2025. Vision AI operations, which contribute over a third of the operating margin, will be repositioned within Atos' Eviden unit and are not part of the state deal. The current offer is not yet binding, with both parties aiming to finalize an agreement in the coming weeks and close the transaction in 2026.
