Emilie Anthonis Appointed MPA EMEA President
Emilie Anthonis has been appointed as the new President and Managing Director of the Motion Picture Association (MPA) for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, effective January 1, 2025. She succeeds Stan McCoy, who is leaving after more than a decade of leadership. Anthonis, who has been with the MPA since 2017, expressed her eagerness to continue the spirit of teamwork established by McCoy and emphasized the importance of Europe as a key market. McCoy reflected on his tenure, noting the association's accomplishments in public policy and anti-piracy efforts. Anthonis previously held roles in legal and public affairs at the Association of Commercial Television in Europe and Viacom.
