Four-Year-Old Dies in Chandler Pool Drowning

A 4-year-old boy drowned at Hamilton Aquatic Center in Chandler, Arizona, during a private church-group event on June 29, 2025, marking the first fatal drowning at a city-run public pool in Chandler. The boy was submerged for an unknown time before being pulled from the water by one of 18 city lifeguards on duty, who immediately began CPR before first responders arrived.
