Sweden Distributes Pamphlets on War Preparedness

In response to escalating security concerns following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Sweden has begun distributing five million pamphlets to residents, urging them to prepare for the possibility of war. The brochure, titled 'If Crisis or War Comes', provides guidance on stockpiling food and water, as well as instructions for facing emergencies like natural disasters and cyber attacks. Both Sweden and Finland, which have joined NATO after decades of military non-alignment, are heightening their preparedness measures amid fears of further conflict with Russia. The pamphlet has been updated to reflect the seriousness of the current global security situation and is being distributed in multiple languages. The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency emphasizes the need for citizens to bolster their resilience to various crises, including military threats. Finland has also launched a new preparedness website, reflecting a broader regional initiative to enhance national security readiness.
