Printemps New York officially opened with a grand event hosted by CEO Jean-Marc Bellaiche, marking the arrival of the French luxury department store in the U.S. The celebration featured notable guests such as Parker Posey and Katie Holmes, with culinary offerings led by chef Grégory Gourdet and entertainment from Noah Cyrus. The store, designed by architect Laura Gonzales, emphasizes a unique shopping experience with a strong focus on food and a modern Art Nouveau aesthetic, differing from its Paris flagship by offering five restaurants in a smaller space. Bellaiche highlighted that while the New York location lacks traditional brand boutiques, it includes a dedicated Jacquemus salon. The event was filled with champagne, floral displays, and an open layout allowing guests to roam freely through the store. As the evening progressed, Bellaiche even led a lighthearted French lesson for attendees, tying the occasion to the arrival of spring.
