Davis Warren Suffers Torn ACL in Bowl Game

Davis Warren, Michigan's starting quarterback, suffered a torn ACL during the ReliaQuest Bowl victory over Alabama, which concluded the Wolverines' season with an 8-5 record. Despite the injury, Warren expressed his determination to return for the 2025 season, celebrating his team's accomplishments and thanking fans for their support. He completed 9 of 12 passes for 73 yards and a touchdown in the game before being sidelined after a hard sack. Warren finished the season with 1,199 passing yards and seven touchdowns, making him only the third Michigan quarterback to defeat both Ohio State and Alabama in the same season. As he begins rehabilitation, he will face competition from incoming freshman Bryce Underwood and Fresno State transfer Mikey Keene. Coach Sherrone Moore emphasized the importance of Warren's role within the team and hopes to have him back next season.
