Three Deputies Die in Loxahatchee Traffic Crash

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is mourning the loss of three deputies after a tragic crash in Loxahatchee, Florida. Deputy Ignacio 'Dan' Diaz succumbed to his injuries on Monday following a collision that also claimed the lives of Cpl. Luis Paez and Deputy Ralph 'Butch' Waller. The incident occurred while the deputies were assisting with a stalled motorcycle on the road's shoulder when an SUV, attempting to maneuver around traffic, lost control and struck them. The driver, a woman in her 30s, was not impaired, and no charges have been filed as the investigation continues.
